'Music for prophet' is the sixth full length album from Klute who, in a career spanning over three decades, has now released nearly as many LPs as the Sugababes. Devoted disciples of drum & bass and well… all kinds of music, will be pleased to hear Klute focusing on the kind of classic sound he does best and making an album with broad appeal, beyond the confines of just the club and kitchen. 'Music for prophet' draws together myriad influences for a fantastic voyage of musical diversity whilst stopping off for cups of tea with the likes of the Beach Boys, Jeff Mills, Giorgio Moroder, John Carpenter, Brian Eno, Claudine Longet, Suburban Knight, Scott Walker, Noise Factory, Lata Mangeshkar, Ben Watt and My Bloody Valentine. His previous albums have all been released to critical acclaim and this one will surely follow suit, with Klute's consistency as an artist reaching into 2010 and beyond. The album also features a collaboration with Dom & Roland and will be released in May, as 3x12" vinyl and CD. Bonus material including techno tracks will be available with the digital downlaod package.
